I would never start a post saying "I hate my life!". EVER.

It's just too emo. Sooo NOT me.

But unfortunately, those four words come close to what I feel right now. UGH. No matter how much I detest even admitting that.

Okay, so let's just skip to the main part.

My CURRENT dilemma: My mom and I had an argument.

No surprise there. I mean everybody has their little disputes with their parents. Mine, just so happened recently.

--Insert dialogue.

(SB arrives home)

Mommy-dearest: "Where have you been?"
Spoiled Brat:"...with my friends." (moves to go to room)
Mommy-dearest: "Why are you so irresponsible and reckless?"
Spoiled Brat: (rolls eyes) "...and how am I irresponsible and reckless? I did nothing wrong."
Mommy-dearest: "You are taking your studies for granted! That's what!"
Spoiled Brat: " Am not! How can you be so sure of that!"
Mommy-dearest: " I don't see you studying! You're always out hanging with those friends of yours!"
Spoiled Brat: "Just because you don't see me studying doesn't mean I'm taking my studies for granted!" (runs to room and slams the door)

You know what the hell happened next?

Mommy-dearest comes knocking on the door saying "Your father is on the phone."

And, all hell broke loose.

--

I HATE pressure.

Above all, I hated being pressured to do something I DON'T want. It's not that I don't want to be responsible (I already am, I just don't show it). I don't want to be pressured to be someone I'm NOT.

And that includes the whole Ms. goody-two-shoes.

I know I'm not the perfect daughter. I'm guilty of that fact.

However, parents should at least bear in mind that NOBODY is born perfect. So what if I have a little fun? There's nothing wrong in enjoying your teenage life, is there? It only comes around once and I'm not gonna spend it all immersed in books, staying home and being the perfect daughter and pupil.

I'll go crazy.

Worse, I'll die. Well, not literally. You get the point.

Everybody has their imperfections. Mine, is failing to be the perfect daughter my mom wanted me to be.

Is life hard on YOU?

Do you complain and whine about how cruel and unfair life is, grieving of the unfortunate events, being all depressed and weak?

Or is it easily served like a deliciously looking slice of chocolate cake?

NO worries. NO problems.

Of course, everybody would rather choose the slice of chocolate cake (Hhmm... yummy) than having to face a trunk load of problems and nuisances.

But, I'm NOT here to listen to all your sappy stories about breakups with boyfriends, flunking your exams, discovering you have a zit on your face, not fitting in the crowd or declaring the world hates you.

No, I am here to tell you of my STORY.

My LIFE.
